This Jeju Island First Flush green tea powder (matcha) is machine harvested around Ipha (the beginning of the summer season). The tender young leaves are then steamed and roasted to prevent any oxidation, thereby maintaining the distinctive color and taste of the first spring harvest. It is then ceramic ball milled into a fine powder.
